Let's Just PretendHe used to drink water out of a martini glass and root beer out of a beer mug. He took deep inhales out of long, thin pens. He snorted white powdered sugar and took vitamin D tablets like ecstasy. Every night he needed a calcium pill for his schizophrenia. He stayed up, and drank coffee with four little plastic containers of cream to wake up.Let's Just Pretend
When he fell in love, he pretended, like always. He made believe (made himself believe) that They were also a lover. Once and while, he had to drink a few beers to forget. Sometimes, he bummed a smoke until his mouth was dry and fuzzy, just to relieve some stress. Tomorrow he's going t

Make It BetterTonight I am swinging At my (old) playgroundMake It Better
I'm part of a darkness Which is grandly interrupted By ka-jillions of stars
I'm swinging higher and higher and higher and higher-times-infinity-plus-one
I let go
I am flying Up Into the deepest, brightest, quietest expanse
Now; I am not small, I take up the entire Space
I am infinite, immortal, and a part of all things

LeaksI believe that mirrors are the windows into the Other place. What the Other place holds (is)...I don't know. Maybe it's where black holes draw us- y'know, it takes light years for a black hole to pull away a whole dimension, but the light gets sucked in too; so really, it's only going to take years. Or could it be; that behind the reflection is where our spirit goes when our bodies need release from freedom (it must be exhausting holding that much energy, so alive). Haven't you ever noticed how you never really feel like yourself when staring at the image? As if you're incomplete, not all there?Leaks

Grains of TimeAn hourglass has a most peculiar and original concept. Time in an hourglass eventually won't move- the tiny grains just stop running (maybe they need a water break, although I feel sorry that they will never again taste the ocean).Grains of Time
Yes, time E N D S
And yet...the moment keeps going. Our experiences continue even when time doesn't need to. But for some reason, we persist in turning the hourglass over and over again. Everyone is afraid of the end of time. We pray for time to pause perhaps, but not to end entirely. Turn the hourglass over on its side...and see what happens.
| (Wait- is a picture supposed to be here? I always thought of my identity was in my words, not a picture...) If you want to know me, completely and deeply- read my poetry. The things I say about myself below are simple, superfluous details. I am a poet, with a tiny side pursuit of photography and am pursuing a career as a cinematographer. I love critique of my work, whether it's positive or negative. Hmmm. I more-than-love music, I've played classical piano for 11 years and would love to take up the cello. Philosophy deeply interests me as well, as does Indian culture, anime, and just being in the downtown of any city. I've got 7 piercings, not couting lobes (because who counts those?) and a few different planned tattoos. ...That's about all for now. Stay tuned for more work. P.S- I am nothing you’ve expected and everything you’ve never bothered to ask. NOTE:If you have a bit of time, go through my gallery, instead of just reading my newest works. You'll get a better idea of what my art is about. Another note: Yeah, my photos aren't going to turn out that fabulous on here simply because of my freaking scanner. D< Also, all photographs were shot with a Pentax 1000, and were developed personally in a darkroom. |

A birthday is just a day, you say.
But it's a special day.
It's the day you first changed the world.
